Bloomberg reports that Alameda invested approximately $1.15 billion in Genesis Digital in April’s round of funding. This gave the company a valuation of $5.5 billion. Alameda continued to invest money in the company, despite the falling price of Bitcoin and the industry being devastated by rising energy costs. There were four rounds.
